Elizabeth Zietz is an alumna of the Lang Lang International Music Foundation Young Scholars Program. As a soloist, Elizabeth has collaborated with several symphonies in the United States and performed in venues such as the Jay Pritzker Pavilion of Chicago’s Millennium Park, Jacqueline du Pré Music Building of Oxford, and Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall. In honor of Leonard Bernstein’s centennial, Elizabeth appeared in the GRAMMY Salute to Classical Music at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage.
Among her honors, Elizabeth received the Grand Prize at the Glendale Piano Competition, First Prize at the Lansum International Music Competition, and First Prize at the Young Stars of the Future Competition. She was also named a winner of the National YoungArts Competition. Elizabeth was selected as one of thirteen pianists worldwide to participate in the 19th Oxford Piano Festival, presented by the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra.
Elizabeth is a senior at Yale College, where she studies Statistics and Data Science & Political Science. Her piano teachers include Grace Fong, Valentina Gottlieb, and Claudia Xi.
