Deva Mira Sperandio (2007) starts to approach music and the piano at the age of 5, and at the age of 8 she enters the J.M.Gomis State Conservatory in Spain, where she has finished her studies in 2023. She is actually studying with a scholarship at the Yehudi Menuhin School of London with Professor Dinara Klinton.
At the age of 10 she makes her debut in a recital and at the age of 14 with the Malaga String Orchestra. She has also played with the Malaga Symphonic Orchestra, and the Orquesta Caixa Ontinyent. Between more than twenty prizes, we can find the first Prize and audience prize in London Chopin International competition, first prize at the Junior Intercollegiate Competition organized by the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe, the 3rd Prize ex-aequo in the 30º International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth in Szafarnia, and 1st prize at the IX Concours International de Piano d’Orleans “Brins d’Herbe”. Deva has been awarded scholarship to participate in Epoche-f International 2021, and the Cleveland International Piano Institute in 2023, and has played in several venues in Spain and abroad.
At the age of 14 she receives an invitation from the EMCY to participate in Epoche-f International 2021, where she plays with the Ensemble made up of 20 young musicians who have won prestigious international competitions from all over Europe at two contemporary music concerts in Germany, Deva being the youngest participant. Deva has also been awarded a scholarship to participate in the Cleveland International Piano Institute in summer 2023 (USA).
Deva has received advice from internationally renowned pianists such as Jerome Rose, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, Fabio Bidini, Alexander Kobrin, Dina Parakhina, Edith Fisher, Dimitri Alexeev, Pavel Nersessian, Josu de Solaun, Eduardus Halim, Christopher Elton, Graham Scott, Pascal Nemirowski, Murray McLachlan and Misha Dacic between others.
From March 2023 Deva is also recipient of a scholarship from the Fundation Arte-Musica (Germany).
Besides, she has also followed masterclasses with international pianists and pedagogues like Jerome Rose (Mannes Collego od Music), Antonio Pompa-Baldi (Cleveland Institute of music), Fabio Bidini (Colburn), Alexander Kobrin (Eastman school of music), Dina Parakhina (Royal College of Music London), Edith Fisher, Dimitri Alexeev (Jury in Warsaw Chopin Competition), Pavel Nersessian (Boston University), Josu de Solaun (Musical Arts Madrid), Eduardus Halim (NYU Steinhardt, Nueva York), Christopher Elton (Royal College of Music London) Graham Scott (Royal Northern College of music, Manchester), Pascal Nemirowsky (Royal Birmingham Conservatoire), Murray McLachlan (Royal Northern College of music, Manchester), and Misha Dacic (Musical Arts Madrid).
