Festival program next year

For the grand season finale of Andermatt Music, with whom we organize the concerts together, we welcome the renowned FILARMONICA DELLA SCALA to Andermatt on Sunday, 6 July 2025. The orchestra will delight with a purely instrumental program and present masterpieces by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Ludwig van Beethoven. The program includes Mendelssohn Bartholdy's Violin Concerto in E minor op. 64 as well as Beethoven's Coriolan Overture op. 62 and the 7th Symphony in A major op. 92.

JULIAN RACHLIN, who performs as conductor and soloist on Sunday, is music director of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra and chief conductor of the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra. For over three decades, Rachlin has been inspiring audiences around the world with his impressive versatility - whether as a conductor, soloist, chamber musician, teacher or artistic director.

On Saturday, July 5, 2025, the two rising stars of the Lang Lang International Music Foundation, AIDAN SIQI ZHAO and DEVA MIRA SPERANDIO, will present their extraordinary talent in a piano recital. The program includes works by Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin and other composers.
