Swiss Alps Classics stars from the past four years congratulate on the anniversary
On the occasion of the five-year anniversary (June 2nd to 5th, 2021) we can proudly and happily say that we have succeeded in establishing our festival on the calendar of international music lovers. The Swiss Alps Classics stands for beautiful, sometimes extraordinary locations around the mystical St. Gotthard as well as for personal closeness to world-class artists. We are very pleased that we have received numerous greetings from stars who congratulate us on the anniversary. Great artists from our festival family such as Isabel Karajan, Olga Peretyatko, Benjamin Schmid, Dieter Flury or the Janoska Ensemble sent their congratulations via video. These videos are also available on our YouTube channel.
HERBERT LIPPERT (tenor, SAC 2017):
“To initiate a classical music festival in the middle of the idyllic mountain world of Andermatt means courage and innovation. And that worked perfectly after these five years. I send the very best congratulations. "
OLGA PERETYATKO (soprano, SAC 2017):
“Grüezi, my dear Swiss Alps Classics, you have already grown up - now you are five years old! I wholeheartedly congratulate you on the first anniversary. I wish that, despite all the pandemics in the world and despite other catastrophes, you my dear festival will always remain full with a wonderful audience and top-class musicians - and that you will always have good weather. I remember my appearance with great gratitude. I had the honor and pleasure to perform at the very first festival. My dear festival, I hope to see you soon and do nice projects together. Ade. "
EMMANUEL TJEKNAVORIAN (conductor and violin, SAC 2017, 2019 & 2021)
“I can remember very well when Clemens Hellsberg told me at the end of 2016 about a new festival in Switzerland. We are now celebrating the five-year anniversary. I see myself as part of this festival because I'm an old hand. This year I'm participating for the third time. I have the most wonderful memories because there the human and the professional correspond very much. I have a close bond with Clemens Hellsberg and the Reichel family. You meet people you like and you find the perfect artistic framework. "
ISABEL KARAJAN (actress, speaker in the Sasso San Gottardo Crystal Hall, SAC 2017):
“Swiss Alps Classics - what a fascinating name, que idea fabulosa, quelle audacieux! I cannot forget the adventure of taking part in the festival premiere! To make a mountain make music, to make a mountain resound. Alphorns lure us into the cold, wet, promising tunnels. The largest rock crystal is waiting for us, surrounded by wonderful, fanatical musicians. And a grotesque, spectacular story ... I say thank you to everyone and keep it up. "
BENJAMIN SCHMID & ARIANE HAERING (violin / piano, SAC 2018):
“We are very happy that the Swiss Alps Classics is five years old, and we want to congratulate it. It is a festival that inspires with great nature and the finest music. Many thanks from us also to the artistic director Clemens Hellsberg and his realizer Mr. Reichel. We are happy that so much has become of this great festival."(Benjamin Schmid)
"My husband Benjamin Schmid and I wish the artists, the organizers and the audience a wonderful get-together while enjoying the music and continued success." (Ariane Haering)
MARIA RADUTU (piano, SAC 2019 & 2021):
"For its fifth anniversary, I wish the festival at least another 50 years with just as exciting programs, a great audience and an unbelievable scenic backdrop."
DIETER FLURY (flute, SAC 2019):
“I got to know the Swiss Alps Classics thanks to Clemens Hellsberg. With him I have worked together for many years in the orchestra and also in the direction of the Vienna Philharmonic, for which I am responsible for Swiss German. For a Swiss, it is something very special to be able to perform at the Theater Uri in Altdorf. I owe that to the Swiss Alps Classics Festival. This is also something very special if someone only comes from Zurich. There are many reasons for people from Zurich to travel to the canton Uri, but so far there have not been any concerts in the foreground. That has now changed. I would also like to congratulate not only the Swiss Alps Classics Festival, but also the entire canton Uri. Keep it up. If the canton Uri starts something, it will continue."
MARISOL MONTALVO (Soprano, SAC 2019 & 2021):
“Grüezi mitenand, congratulations on the fifth anniversary! I was already there in 2019 when I performed with great artists like Emmanuel Tjeknavorian and Jörg Widmann. I feel very honored that I was invited again this year and that I can play another concert with Emmanuel Tjeknavorian. "
DAVID NEBEL (violin, SAC 2020):
“Dear audience, dear Swiss Alps Classics, I would like to congratulate you with all my heart on your fifth anniversary and wish you all the best. I still remember my performance at your place last August at the Park Hotel Vitznau very well. It was an unforgettable evening for me. It was my first live appearance in front of an audience after the first forced Corona break. To be on stage again and to feel this interaction between audience and music, that was something very special for me. It was also the opportunity to celebrate Ludwig van Beethoven's 250th birthday despite this difficult year. In this way, I wish you all the best, all the best for the future, another five and more years, unforgettable concerts, and I look forward to seeing you again very soon! "
SERGEY TANIN (piano, SAC 2020):
“Dear friends, the Swiss Alps Classics will start soon. I remember the wonderful time at the last festival. This year's edition is the perfect opportunity to satisfy your hunger for concerts this summer. I wish you a lot of pleasure. "
JANOSKA ENSEMBLE (SAC 2020):
“Our concert on August 22, 2020 in the wonderful concert hall of Andermatt was a very, very important concert with great energy for us.” (Julius Darvas, double bass) “Congratulations! We hope to see you again soon in picturesque Andermatt! ”(Frantisek Janoska, piano)
Car partner Christen Automobile is loyal to the Swiss Alps Classics
In addition to the great artists, the partners and sponsors who make the event possible are important for a festival like the Swiss Alps Classics. Our official car partner Christen Automobile from Schattdorf has been there from the start and has remained loyal to us.
