Christmas in a classic way
The days until Christmas are numbered and you still don't have a suitable gift for your music-loving loved ones?
Then give them a very special highlight! We are now offering you a 24 percent Christmas discount for the premiere of the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra at the Swiss Alps Classics 2023! The offer is only valid until December 24, 2022.
The oldest Swiss symphony orchestra will perform for the first time at Swiss Alps Classics on June 17, 2023 in the Andermatt Concert Hall. As a crowning finale to the festival, the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of principal conductor Michael Sanderling, will perform two works by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 - 1827) that belong to the "world cultural heritage" of classical music: the Violin Concerto in D major, op. 61, and the Symphony No. 5 in C minor, op. 67.
The gift recipients can expect a concert in a unique atmosphere amidst the picturesque mountain scenery of Andermatt. Designed by London-based Seilern Architects, the Andermatt Concert Hall was inaugurated in 2019 with a brilliant concert by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. With this world-class forum for music, Andermatt received another flagship. The Andermatt Concert Hall is the first large, specially designed concert hall in a year-round destination in the mountains. The Janoska Ensemble (2020), the soprano Marisol Montalvo (2019 and 2021) and the violin virtuoso Ziyu He (2022), among others, have already performed there as part of the Swiss Alps Classics.
We would be very happy to welcome you in summer 2023 at our next big highlight in the Andermatt Concert Hall! For this we would like to recommend our Christmas offer to you.
We wish you and your families a wonderful, relaxing Christmas season and a happy new year!
Your team of the Swiss Alps Classics
